58% PAKISTANI ARE LITERATE

A study done by Federal Bureau Statistics on Pakistan Social and Living Standards Measurement (PSLM) Survey 2010-11 has revealed the following statistics related to education. 
*Literacy-population 10 years and older:
Literacy rate of Pakistan is about 58% of population, age group 10 years and above. At provisional level 60% Punjab while, Balochistan is 41% which is less among all provinces. 
* Adult literacy-population 15 years and older:
Adult literacy rate in Pakistan is about 55% of population, age group 15 years and above, while at province level Sindh is 58%, 37% in Balochistan which …

Majority (86%) of Pakistanis live in their own houses

Approximately Seventy percent houses in Pakistan have 2-4 rooms in their houses
Federal Bureau of Statistics, Pakistan has recently conducted sixth round of Pakistan Social and Living Standards Measurement (PSLM) survey 2010-11. In which Information is gathered from 76546 households, the given sample had covered entire country and information is gathered on social sector issues of household from all four provinces of Pakistan. Public Awareness towards Dengue Fever in Lahore – 2011

Pakistan’s Telecom Sector, 2009-10 Stats

In January 2004 the Ministry of Information Technology issued its Mobile Cellular Policy with objectives to:

1. Promote efficient use of radio spectrum,
2. Increase choice for customers of cellular mobile services at competitive and affordable prices,
3. Encourage private investment in the cellular mobile sector,
4. Recognize of the rights and obligations of mobile cellular operators,
5. Provide for fair competition among mobile and fixed line operators, and
